a little red bird on a tree
will take its rightful place
on my shoulder: tree and
and all - i have decided it
is best to add the bird to
remind me of when i sat
drank a beer and watched
all the birds float into the
sky: then the morning came
and each went to a roof top
somewhere in a tennessee
poem - where all birds go
yes, each bird enters those
gates not knowing that all
the yelling, all the beatings
are nothing to the play: it
is a simple act, a very simple, very drastic, unevasive act
soon forgotten by all but those who have a little red bird
