opportunities - come and go
like a muggy day in the south
it drenches each being without
remorse. what remorse can we
have if we chose to go outside
instead of staying in where it is
tolerable and cool. menopause
does that to a woman. we be -
come self aware of the heat that
is not there, like a muggy day
pre-menopausal is what my
googling has gotten me. i am
pre-menopausal. not there yet
still i suffer moments like no
other felt before: may the other
side be cool - like the northern
wind before spring
