dits and dahs

 "the uncontrolled element of life"*

the tap tap tapping continues. i can

not make it stop. i became numb to

it today. forgot it - until right now

how if it was a clock it would warn

to go home. but the traffic stops me

why go now. why not wait till it all

dissipates. enjoy the tapping of the pane

imagine stories it tells in morse - if

only i knew math and numbers well

a fractal geometry is what will be our

legacy: a self similarity me and that

red cardinal are: he taps on panes

i on keys. his will last till his life

ebbs: mine will last till a truthful

measurement of my life is had . . .
