i often fantasize i am smarter than i am
a physicist - even i dare - an astrophysicist
it is said a conviction
is stronger than a belief
i wonder what convictions a physicist has to existence
an astrophysicist's substantive involvement
an astrophysicist's substantive involvement
to the very energy that surrounds us as we cut off the heads
of thousands of flowers. me just sitting there, scissoring back
and forth. what right do i have to exist and for them to die so harshly
i never asked to be born, at least i don't recall, this was war, pain, simply
aimed at devouring life
