it is nice to have a confidante
someone who will hear your
crazy and she hears mine. we
speak in whispers about God
and she laughs why whisper.
she knows everyone and every
one knows her. soft spoken
alert and very disorganized
still she manages to pull thru
her faith does that: her worship
of our Lord I do not have -
today i was introduced to it
i am in a remedial class each
lesson pounded into me until
my heart feels empty and alone
and then it vanishes the hurt
and in pours love, pure unabashed
love. the kind not written about
in romance novels or even good
sci-fi - it is written in a book
thousands of years old: still i
have my doubts - she has none
never has and never will and i
am just happy to have her be
part of my existence
