walking down the hall I see it all
those who were in love now lost
if asked, when asked - there was
a time when love flourished or a
semblance of what appeared as in love
some still in love even as the judge
ask - is this your signature, did you
go over the decree. does it address
the children, the house, the bank
accounts, and cars? then a simple
signature later it all ends. it is done

but even him when asked - could not answer if he loved me.
