it is always easiest to tell
those who need looking
after - the eyes show the soul
unencumbered by life - it is a stage of innocence
never lost, their existence a reminder that God
is not as Nietzsche proclaimed dead or as Kafka
portrayed - existentialism at its most bewildered state
these souls are locked and grown never to face the thought
that religion, bankruptcy, perturbation destroys mankind
they know food is good, cuddles are nice, and warmth is welcomed
they chide from the cold, and the dark and hunger that keeps men
in thought: does
existence precede essence
