To William Blake: axiomatic system or we are the refuge for numbers

As provincial as it may seem

We are the very refuge for

These numbers we call ours

It is said that God is known

As the greatest of the greatest

Mathematicians and his very

Language is the transcription

The earth’s radius: the latitude

And longitude we so cleverly

Thought was ours: provincial

Perhaps as we enter now into

This our numerical abyss where

Poems are no more than code

Read by the very men who at

One time wrote the poems
